We want you to sleep comfortably from one year to the next. Therefore, we offer a 5-year guarantee on the internal springs of our mattresses from the date of purchase.

PREPARATION

A mattress will contour to a bed base just as it does with your body, so we recommend replacing an old base or ensuring yours is in good condition. If the bed is damaged in any way, it could be detrimental to your mattress. If your mattress is being placed on a slatted base, make sure the slat gaps are no more than 75mm.

ACCESS

When purchasing a mattress, along with our headboard and bed bases, we recommend that customers consider the size of their hallway, staircase, and doors to make an informed decision regarding access considerations. To ensure your delivery goes as smoothly as possible, it is important to update us about any restrictions or other access issues. For example, the premium nature of our mattress springs means they cannot be bent, so it’s essential to consider how they can be delivered to the room of your choice.

For larger mattress sizes such as a king and emperor, a customer home walk-through video (simply filmed on your smartphone) of how the furniture will travel through your property is one way for our delivery team to assess if we need to organise a prior home visit and measure doorway dimensions etc. Please note each of our luxury mattresses weighs between 30kg to 100kgs depending on the size and this requires three white-glove experts to deliver them safely.

Our delivery teams will carefully deliver items to the ground and first-floor levels as standard. However, if you live beyond a first-floor delivery, including apartments, please contact our friendly Customer Service to discuss delivery options.

Upon arrival, we will unwrap and assemble your bed in the room of your choice, with the packaging taken away for recycling.

After being unwrapped, your mattress or topper should be left in a well-ventilated room for a few hours before use. Any natural scent from the fillings will dissipate after a few days. Mattresses may contract slightly during transportation and appear smaller on installation (leaving a gap between mattress and bed frame). After a short while they will relax and fall into place. A variation of +/- 2cm in size is in line with industry standards.
