These simple tips will ensure the longevity of your natural luxury rug:
If you accidentally spill something on your rug, place a clean, damp cotton cloth and leave it on the stain until it is absorbed. If needed, gently dab the stain by working from the edge of the stain inwards. Do not rub to remove the stain.
We always recommend professional steam cleaning of the rug when necessary.
For short-pile rugs, regular vacuuming is key as dirt can work its way down deep into the rug pile and cause wear and tear.
If you spot fluff or pilling on the surface of your rug, vacuum regularly to remove it, and the problem should settle over time.
COMPOSITION
As Jute is a natural material, the rug will adapt to its environment, and its shape may change over time. Jute will also soften over time which may lead to some of the braids fraying/loosenings. This can easily be rectified by looping any loose braid back on itself and through the rug.
